Woodland wonders

Some plainer fungi – if there’s such a thing? Brown, beige and white, Many are common underfoot, but often difficult to spot as they blend in with their surrounds.

These delicate white ones were TINY!!
In some areas, thin strands of fungi spread everywhere across the ground.

Another “behind the scene” shot of the OM-1, this time taken with the EM-1 Mark II. One of the images taken of that group is below.

Thanks for coming bush with me, I hope you didn’t get any leeches 😉

    1. Thanks Anneli, the stringy fungi on the ground is tricky to get a good shot of to show how spread out it is, like someone squirted a heap of silly string about! I’m taking more time and looking for compositions as well as just fungi now too.

      1. Oh, sorry, Tone. I knew that you were in Tasmania and I know it’s separate from NZ. Somehow they all became one in my mind. Thanks for the reminder. It’s a bit like people thinking that Vancouver is on Vancouver Island but it’s not.

    1. Thank you, I just visited your lovely blog and wrote a lengthy comment on your typewriter post, only for WP to tell me the reply couldn’t be sent! It wouldnt have disappeared on a typewriter!

      1. I’m not sure if I managed to follow you, I hope so, WordPress app on my iPad mini is often fickle and sometimes doesn’t behave as it should, especially if I leave the reader and visit a site as I did yours 🙂

      2. I don’t think you did, but no worries! WordPress app isn’t the greatest for that stuff. I’ll have to follow you when I get home to my computer.
