Turns out it is known as a Stately Helmet Orchid or Veined helmet-orchid – Corybas diemenicus. Yes, it was dim way down near the creek and they looked black to the eye. I would like to go her again to see if they open more and reveal a beautiful inner self … but it’s quite a trek! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
