Thank you, the colour in that one was pretty much as shot. I was tempted to make it mono, as it almost is, but wanted one that showed the scene close to how it was. The sun on the surf naturally highlighted the roughness. My next post will have more images just of that rock, it’s a beauty!

Thanks Morgaine, it’s a very rugged and pretty remote part of Tasmania, the other end of the island for me so I don’t get there often but WELL worth a visit!

Thanks John, a bit different to where you live! I haven’t been up to that end of our island, Tasmania – about as far as I can drive from home – for a long time. It’s beautifully rugged and wild.

Thanks, it’s a very diverse island, the coast here is very rugged and there’s hardly anywhere to hide for boats!

Thank you, Tasmania is, of course, the best part of Australia 😉 There’s more photos coming, slowly sifting through and editing them as time permits 😀

I didn’t get to Tasmania when I was there. A very good reason to come back. I love the wild places in the world. 🙂

I met a fellow at the market last week and we got talking, he recounted a story from his youth of him on a fishing boat that sank up there, it didn’t end well. Very unforgiving coast and very few places to hide!
