On the weekend we travelled to Mole Creek – a small country town in the North of Tasmania – a three hour drive for “A day at the Creek”, an annual music festival in the pub’s paddock. An elderly crowd mostly made up of “grey nomads” enjoyed a few drinks in the sun, entertained by a mix of country guitarists, a cover impersonator who was very good, but in my mind really a karaoke session before the big gun cover-bands rolled out.
Tassie locals “The Blues Brothers Revival Band” had much of the crowd dancing, I remember seeing them about 30 years ago and they still put on a great show, with their Blues Mobile parked out the back. They were followed by “Rewind 80’s”, a tribute band who were also good fun, singing many old classics.

To close the show, ABBA tribute band, “BABBA” played into the night – not usually my thing – but they were GREAT!! Entertaining and very funny. My mate and I found our way to the front of stage yet again!

That would be my smiling hatted head just to the right of “Bjorn’s”!
Thanks for visiting 🙂
Looks like great fun, and you look a bit lit, Tone! 😂

Thanks, something very different for me but great fun. I took my camera but didn’t use it and just took a couple of Babba with my phone – the results surprised me – especially catching Agnetha pointing at me! Fluke timing 😀
