Wow, Tone, you were there at the perfect time, the photos are so beautiful! I love geology, such a great subject. Lucky man… 😂😎🇦🇺

Thanks John, I’ve put in some info on how this was formed in the next post. I was put into phyics and chemistry and now regret that I didn’t do geology, it really fascinates me. I love looking for fossils too.

Spectacular! So dream-like and magickal! I almost expect Merlin to appear from behind the trees in the middle of the columns. 🙂

When editing them thought of “The Wall” in Game of Thrones! One day I’ll have to get some from the top! Another mission.

Fantastic photos and fantastic scenery. I find it challenging to get the feeling of height when taking pictures of cliffs. You master it and the fog adds that extra.

Thanks so much for your feedback Ulle! I really appreciate that because it is hard to capture the height and steepness of things. I’n never sure how others perceive my mages. There’s one more post to come in this series, it was hard to pick which photos to keep or ditch and I was greedy 😀

Me too! I can’t see it from my place as I live in a valley on the foothills, that’s why I call it my big backyard 😀 I don’t get up there as often as I’d like though.
