I thought I’d just check the sky after dinner before having an early night, beams were visible to the naked eye from my front deck, so off to the beach instead!

Just after I took this first “test shot”, another local photographer came onto the dunes. Mark had only moved into the area four months ago from Queensland.

I happened to catch this meteor – or UFO, in a vertical shot of the Milky Way.

Just after I took this image of Mark on my way to the beach from the top of the dunes, my battery went flat! I shot a wedding last week and had neglected to re-charge, luckily I had a spare at home, only a 3 minute walk away.

We chatted for a few hours and watched the Aurora slowly fade before heading home for a quick edit and post … now I’m off to bed at 12.30am! An early night turned into an early morning
Thanks for visiting. Live every day as though it could be your last, one day there might not be a tomorrow. Look for the magic and enjoy every moment 😀
