While editing photos, I found another days photos showing the development of Mycena Interrupta – the pretty little blue fairy parasols!
Let’s start from the beginning of the day …

After another glorious sunrise down the valley and breakfast, I set off for the ten minute walk through the forest to my best ever fungi patch, to see another day’s growth …

The oldest ones where losing their beautiful blue as the younger ones flourished.

To be continued …
Thanks for dropping by, stay tuned!
I can see why they’re such a magnet 😊. Lovely shots!

Thank you, we’ve had some cracker winter sunrises in the last few weeks! Since moving, I seem to wake up everyday shortly before the sky starts to lighten, no matter what time I go to bed.

Thank you, it was great to observe the same group grow for a few days in a row! I have a cold and keep over-doing life and fun, so the cold keeps coming back to bite me. I’m trying harder now to rest, stay warm and recover properly. It’s not as much fun, but nor is being sick

My friend/neighbour and soon to be housemate Evan has a wall with 20 of my older fungi prints on it. There are plans to soon update it, I shall post when it is done 😀
