When I visited the Maroon-hood Orchid again, it was looking much better now the rain had stopped for a day.

While I was waiting for the camera to take 15 photos and process the stacked image, I looked around the surrounding bush …

When something ridiculously small caught my eye! About the size of a blade of grass, with a small lump at the top, about 10 feet away amongst the ferns …

Then, incredibly, another not far from that!

I carefully picked a way through the scub, so careful to not tread on maybe another to have a closer look and take these photos … and then, I found …

Another THREE!!! I’m not certain, but I think the buds could be two different varieties of orchid as the leaves are quite different.

I am honestly still so excited, I can’t wait until these tiny buds start to show themselves.
Thanks for visiting 😀
Waiting to see what happens tomorrow. Hurry!

I found the tiniest purple orchid today Anneli but I’m only telling you for now 😉 I was so unbelievably excited, look at your small finger nail, it was about 1/8th the size of that, I couldn’t believe I found it! Will probably be a week before I catch up and publish though. Busy having fun tonight 😀

Those pesky work hours! I retired in 2016 so I do get bored at times.
