    1. Thank you so much for your kind comment! It moves me to know that my post brought back such fond memories ๐Ÿ˜€ I don’t post all that regularly but I strive for quality over quantity, particularly in my photography. Sometimes I get a little lax with the words, I usually put my posts together late at night, the words either flow easily, or more often they don’t but I hope the pictures are enough to tell a story. While I love taking images, I don’t enjoy sitting behind a computer so much, I much prefer to enjoy life. I try to pick varied and interesting subjects that often offer a new challenge for me, usually at random without planning and what ever I experience during the week, often a surprise for me and hopefully the reader.
Thanks again, I really appreciate your words ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Thanks Morgaine, I hadn’t looked at the header shot like that but I see what you mean! That red fungi does look like a gnomes hat too – I took it because I thought it looked like a jube. I was originally going to edit all pics in colour but converting them to mono worked so well for something different. The last one is very abstract compared to the original image and the inspiration for the post title ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Tone, the fourth photo is amazing, it reminds me of those sprites and other names that were discovered a few years ago that shoot vertically out of a thunderstorm. Beautiful.

    1. Thanks John, perhaps it would have been better in mono as well to leave more to the imagination ๐Ÿ˜€ I loved this tiny miniature alien forest, it had quite a variety of lichen and mosses.
