This was by far my favourite walk in the Tarkine, not so much the destination – “one of the finest examples of a flooded sinkhole in Australia” – but the amazing track under a mixed enchanted forest of giant eucalypts and rainforest species with a carpet of waterferns.

Sure is, and they sound like the Devil too! There’s a couple that nest at times under some neighbours’ houses in our valley, gladly not my house! Here’s a post from a while ago, I took at a park near Cradle Mountain …
