Thank you, Eastern Rosellas don’t visit our valley, only the Green ones. These were taken on the Domain – and someone is feeding them bread, not the best treat for them. They were cautious but didn’t seem too fussed by my presence and I could get pretty close.
A beautiful bird, Tone, it reminds me of the Lorikeet. Have a great new week. 👍🏻

Thanks John, they are a similar size to the Lorikeet. I’ve been enjoying less screen time and more me time 🙂 Look after yourself.

I love Eastern Rosellas too. We get the odd one or two here, but they tend to be shy. However, no shortage of Crimson Rosellas! Lovely photos.

We only give our resident rosellas wild bird seed and only in small portions. We have to watch out for the thieving cockys!

What a paradise of birds you live in. (Does that make sense? You know what I mean.)
