The next two edited images are for follower and regular commenter Morgaine @ Magic Mermaid 😀

After updating to OM Workspace software, I found it has many improvements over it’s predecessor and better noise handling than Photoshop, so I’ve changed my post-processing workflow. I now edit the RAW .ORF files in Workspace, exporting as a TIF before opening in Photoshop for final edits / crop / resize / watermark.
I’ll likely post a “first thoughts review” of the digital OM-1 next, stay tuned and thanks for visiting 🙂
Beautiful. Self-portraits?

The version of the boletus after I clicked and clicked again looks very good. What was the lens again did you say?

Thanks David, I didn’t say, M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm F2.8 PRO. Lovely piece of glass. I’m so tempted to get the matching 40-150mm F2.8 but the size and weigh put me off, so maybe the new F4.0 PRO might be an option.

Thanks John, I’m impressed by the lovely bokeh, the transition from focused to not is much better and also from over exposed areas. Out for another play his arvo.

The digital OM1 produces fine photos. I especially like the spider under the mushroom.

Thanks Timothy, I saw the spider but not the bug on top when I took the shot.

I love the gnomes! 😀 The red fungi are phenomenal-are they called strawberry fungi? Even though I’m not a fan of spiders, the photo is amazing. 🙂 All the photos are fantastic!

Thanks Morgaine, I have to admit I haven’t looked up their names, other things are occupying my attention 😉 They make me think of red velvet cake, though I bet they taste quite different!

Love the Gnomes, thank you for sharing! I also love everything Gnomes, the whimsy and magic of the Gnome world. If you or anyone here are interested I paint ink/watercolor prints of Gnomes for Etsy – would love to hear what you think about my gnome prints, I just started loading all the prints now as there will be over 20 on display soon. https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/LalliesCreations LalliesCreations – Etsy -thank you, Lallie
