Spotted first by trail dog Benny-Boy, this Blue Tongue Lizard was somewhat camera shy. Though he poked his blue tongue out a few times, I miss timed with the shutter every time. Here’s a few shots as he waddled by, before slipping into the bush, after saying “hi”.

How big is this lizard? It’s hard to tell with nothing in the photo to compare the size with. Great closeups of the fellow.

Thanks and good point … his head was about 4cm across and he was about 25cm long, a decent sized lizard 🦎 😀
