Inspired by billionaire “astronauts “, I set about launching my own rocket this week. While I lack in their budget, I make up with enthusiasm and set about constructing a launch pad from scrap pine. I’m not sure why my efforts haven’t attracted the same level of media attention.
I’ve also been playing with GoPro settings, the biggest improvement coming from not using auto white balance! Now my red rocket doesn’t look orange and washed out. The two images below are stills from video.
I’ve also been playing around with different GoPro mounting positions for different perspectives around my rocket, some successful, others not-so. Eventually I’ll put together a video.
