Good night

I’m no Astro expert and it’s cold and windy outside. Olympus EM1 II with Laowa 7.5 f2.0 lens, this is a single shot @ F2.4, 20 sec, ISO3200, manually merged with a single “dark frame” to reduce dead and stuck pixels (because I couldn’t figure out how to do it any other way). Levels, vibrance and contrast adjusted .. and eventually I ended up with this.

Rising Milky Way in the Southern Sky.

I think it’s OK, feedback welcome.

    1. Thanks for the comment, I am very lucky to live in a place that has relatively little light pollution. I hope to experiment more with the gear I have and learn more about astro photography in order to improve on this 🙂 It is also a good place to see the Aurora Australis which seems to be best in seven year cycles.
