I managed to sneak off into the bush yesterday to clear my head and do what I love, wander into some waterfalls and find fungi!

I noticed this bright berry on the climb out of my valley.

First stop, O’Grady’s Falls. I’ve taken a few photos of this spot over the years and never really been happy with the result, even this one, though I’m not exactly sure why. This time I used a diffused flash pointed to the right to help bring out the shadow detail.

A pretty flow through mossy rocks in the upper Hobart Rivulet dappled with sunlight.

Featherstone Falls from the lower pool and below the awkwardly placed log.

An insect sits on some fungi.

Some bright orange fungi that I thought at first was some marking tape!
Awesome pictures 🙂
