A couple of shots from the walk to Hall’s Falls near Pyengana. In the second shot I had trouble with my old (cheap) variable neutral density filter but managed to mostly save it in Photoshop. It has served me well for many years!
A VND filter cuts down the amount of light coming through the lens so you can increase the exposure (in this case about 10 seconds on a tripod) which makes the water seem to flow smooth and milky instead of capturing frozen droplets.
