The next evening, a visit after dinner … hello beautiful!

Every time I go out, I try to take better photos, sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Often when I take them, I envision the final edited version. I’m my biggest critic, I see flaws in each photo and try to learn from every image, it is a personal challenge to keep improving. And that’s why I love photography.

The sun kissed the hill crest trees as it set, light faded, time to go home on dark.

Stacked Jpeg and RAW files edited in DxO Photolab 7, then final level adjustments and cropping, resizing in Adobe CS6 (last non-subscription).
Thanks for visiting, I hope the beards aren’t boring you, they absolutely fascinate me! I visited this one again today as well as some others, it appears I have my ‘orchid eye’ in …
The results of your photography are certainly very good, but you often see imperfections in your own work, which is the same with me ๐
This orchid, which you showed us yesterday in a closed state, is really very special. The long hairy lip is especially striking.

Thank you ๐ I’ve been busy editing late into the last few nights and have a few post scheduled with lots more orchids that I’ve photographed over the last few weeks. They are addictive to visit and watch grow and I’ve found some different ones too!

Now that I see the size of the orchid next to the camera I’m even more amazed! So much intricate detail!
