This is I think the last post with images of Arthur River, it’s such a captivating, mesmerising experience watching this giant washing machine churn. I could have spent all day just here but time to move on further down the coast.

Relentless waves smashing the shore.
That rock again from another spot.
“What are you doing, it’s time to go …”
“Just one more …”
“Or two …”
Back at the Arthur River car park.

    1. Thanks John, still only halfway through the first day!!
The ute got it’s first wash a few days after we got home 😀 We live on a dirt road so generally washing it is pointless, it was dirty again the next day :/
My wife always goes on about me not washing my cars, they get a wash when it rains! Dirt protects the paint – like a seal at the beach, washing them only drags dirt around the duco scratching it. I washed my old car three times in seven years … the third time was when I sold it – came up like new!!

      1. Dirt roads… No! 😂 My 2015 GMC Sierra is in near-mint condition because of the very dry climate here. I put a coat of wax on it yesterday. 👍🏻

    1. Yes!, No thanks. I got chatting to a customer at the market, he recounted a story from his youth of him as a deckhand on a fishing boat that sank up there, it didn’t end well. Very unforgiving coast and very few places to hide!
