There wasn’t any wind so it was surprisingly warmer than you would think though I was rugged up – except for my and one hand on the camera!

Nice and refreshing, at the moment we have around 38-39 degrees Celsius – and in several places in Europe there is fire in the forests.

I just heard about fires in Europe on the radio, not good! That’s getting on the too hot side for me, at least when it’s cold you can put more clothes on π

Thanks John, it is a real treat! All gone at home now but still plenty on the big rock behind us π The last two days the temp has been 6-8 deg C so not tooo cold, at least it’s not been windy!

It’s only been a few weeks since the shortest day and already the evening light is extending noticeably. We’re likely not through the worst of the weather yet though, but it has been cool but really nice and clear this week.

Because there was little wind, sounds seemed muffled except the birds! They seemed amplified all around in the relative silence, it was a sensory treat!!
